More than a workout
Jiu Jitsu changes how you move, think and carry yourself. Here's what our students get from it.

Get in shape without the boring workouts
Strength, cardio and flexibility in every class. You're too busy learning to watch the clock, and you don't need to be in shape to start.

Self-defense you can trust
You practice against a real, resisting partner, so you know it works. Leverage and technique, not size.

Confidence that carries over
Staying calm under pressure on the mat becomes calm at work, at school and at home.

A sharper mind
Every round is a puzzle. Jiu Jitsu is often called human chess: problem-solving, focus and patience.

Move better for life
Balance, mobility, coordination and learning to fall safely. Athletic skills that keep you capable at any age.

A team that has your back
No ego, everyone welcome. Friends of all ages who push you to get better and celebrate when you do.

Your first class can be any class
No experience and no fitness level needed. Every class starts with the fundamentals, and coaches pair you with partners who help you learn.

Confidence, earned on the mat
A structured belt program that builds focus, resilience and respect. Kids learn to fall safely, handle pressure and stand up to bullying. They burn energy and come home calmer.
Start with a course
Short courses for people who like a clear starting point. They run a few times a year. Regular classes are open to beginners too, any day.

Women's Self-Defense Course

Why Jiu Jitsu over karate or other martial arts?
Jiu Jitsu is the martial art where you train at full effort against a real, resisting partner almost every class. It's safe because there are no punches or kicks: you control, pin and submit, and your partner taps to stop.
What that means for you
- Skill beats size. Leverage, timing and technique let a smaller, more skilled person control a bigger, stronger opponent.
- Proof, not theory. You test every technique against someone resisting for real, so you quickly learn what works and what doesn't.
- Full effort, safely. With no strikes, you can spar hard week after week. That's how real skill is built, and you can dial the intensity up or down at any age.
- A sharper mind. It's often called human chess. Every round is a moving puzzle that trains problem solving, strategy and focus.
- Calm under pressure. Staying composed in tough positions builds emotional control and clear thinking you carry into work, school and life.
- Body awareness. You develop balance, coordination and a feel for how your body moves, on your feet and on the ground.
- Intuition and creativity. Over time you start to sense what's coming and invent your own solutions. No two people play the same game.
- Discover who you are. Hard rounds show you what you're made of and build a humble, lasting confidence.
- It's fun. It's a game you play with friends, and the challenge keeps you coming back for years.
One team, all ages
What our students say
"The kids always seem like they are having a great time, and the social and emotional growth I've seen in my daughter has changed her life for the better."
"If you're on the fence, like I was 3.5 years ago, trust me; invest in yourself. You will not regret it."
"My 5 year old LOVES her lessons here… She is normally very shy and she tends to open up a bit more now."
"They also compete regularly so you know what they're teaching works! It's a very welcoming environment. The training is hard, but the mats are soft."
"Great gym with great coaches. I have three of my kids enrolled and myself… The coaches are great with the kids and adults. The mats are kept very clean as well."
"A solid school with good people. I've been learning a skill, getting in shape, and making friends!"

I've never done martial arts. Is that OK?
Yes. Most of our students started with zero experience. Every class is beginner friendly, and coaches pair new students with helpful partners.
Am I too old or out of shape?
No. You train at your own pace, and the fitness comes with the training. Students of many ages and fitness levels train here.
Why Jiu Jitsu over karate or other martial arts?
You train at full effort against a real, resisting partner, safely, because there are no strikes. You learn what really works, get a full-body workout and can keep training for decades.
What should I wear to my first class?
Athletic clothes without zippers or pockets. If you don't have a gi yet, we'll lend you one.
Do I have to compete?
Never. Competing is encouraged for those who want it, and our competition team will help you prepare. Many students train purely for fitness, self-defense and fun.
What does it cost after the free class?
Unlimited classes are $140/month, or $175 for a 10-class pack.
